We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day at Citation went. They went above and beyond for us, and we felt incredibly comfortable asking for things both in advance and on the day. Nothing seemed an inconvenience — even popping in on random days during the planning process to check things over.

We were blown away by the food at our menu tasting and received loads of compliments from our guests (many of whom have attended a number of weddings in the last couple of years) about the freshness of their meals and the generous portion sizes. Citation’s in-house decor is unreal and saved us the additional job of sourcing a company to come in and add the finishing touches — from the candelabra to all of the fairy lights, to the Chivari chairs and choice of colour sashes to drape over — everything was just perfect.

The venue size and the heated balcony meant that, despite constant rain on the day, we still managed to get beautiful pictures in many different areas. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing! I couldn’t recommend Citation and the staff more to anyone considering wedding venues.

Citation was the perfect location for our wedding, the process was made very simple by Louize who clearly has a wealth of experience in wedding planning. Nothing was too much trouble either in the planning stage or on the day.  The staff were extremely friendly and the food was fantastic, overall faultless and highly recommended!

The food was amazing, the Staff were attentive and friendly, the décor is beautiful, and frankly it’s a Glasgow wedding and you never waited more than 3 minutes to get served for a drink. Even before and after our day, the staff were fantastic for letting us in to do the logistics that comes with a day like that – pick ups, drop offs, money handling, changes. Fantastic venue!

Our special day on 24th Sept 2021 was just amazing in every way! From start to finish the day was full of love, laughter and special memories created all day. The team were amazing, food delicious, venue beautifully decorated, nothing too much trouble. Our piano player Andrew Edmond was awesome and loads of our guests commented on how good he was - his playing of our song to walk me down the aisle was gorgeous. Citation is second to none and thank you to you all for making our day special - wish we could do it all again!

On our first visit to Citation, we knew this was where we wanted to get married.  Absolutely stunning venue with fantastic staff to go with it!  Citation had everything we were looking for.

Louize is brilliant and very accommodating with the wedding planning.  She kept us right at every point, allowing us to keep the process stress free.

From the moment I contacted you I felt a weight off my shoulders. With the wedding having to be rearranged several times and at several locations, we are so glad it took us to Citation.

What an absolutely stunning venue both inside and out. Nothing was a bother for Louize and her team, who were so attentive and the whole day went like clockwork. The whole day went so smoothly and that is due to the professionalism and organisation of this fantastic team.

Fabulous food, great atmosphere, great wines and cocktails and fantastic staff! After hosting my sister's wedding, Citation has now become a firm favourite! Everything was perfect, couldn't have gone better!

Having booked with Louize for 29 Glasgow for our 2020 wedding and thereafter changing to Citation we have had nothing but amazing things to say about Louize.

Fantastic wedding experience from the initial planning through to the finer details and the big day itself!  Citation was a beautiful venue for our daughter's wedding and the planning was very straightforward and stress free.  Louize is clearly very experienced at organising events and nothing was too much trouble.

Citation is exclusive which is our dream and we can't believe that we have this beautiful location for our big day. Louize is amazing in helping with our requests and keeping our planning on track. This awesome team must do over a hundred weddings a year and yet they make you feel like you're the only bride and groom they are working with in building and creating a magical day. I can’t wait for September to get here already!
